Classroom Expectations

First and foremost, I expect my students to challenge themselves, pursue growth, be life long learners, and set personal goals. It is just as important that my students have as high expectations for themselves as I do for them. The students that enter my class are a family, and it is my expectation that all students will give respect to each other, myself, and our learning environment. We are a community of learners, and students will be expected to work together and collaborate.

If students work hard, complete assignments promptly, maintain a positive attitude, and seek help when necessary, then they will leave prepared and ready for 7th grade.

*If you find you are struggling in math, please come see me or another teacher during tutorials in the mornings from 8:30-8:55 in the sixth grade hallway. I am also available sometimes during study hall, but please note that this can be a particularly busy time if you are needing a lot of assistance.
